Two resorts in Nha Trang, one each in Phu Quoc, Vung Tau, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City were selected as the most luxurious by tourism readers at this year’s World Luxury Hotel Awards.

Located in Duong To Commune on the southern island Phu Quoc, Pullman Phu Quoc was named the “Luxury beach resort in Vietnam.”
Covering six hectares, the resort opened in 2020 and has 331 rooms and a two-room villa, all surrounded by lines of green trees.
There’s a public swimming pool at the resort. Guests can play tennis, go kayaking and participate in yoga classes.
A night’s stay costs from VND2.9 million ($116 ) a night.

Melia Hanoi on Ly Thuong Kiet Street, less than one kilometer from the Hoan Kiem Lake, was voted winner of the “Luxury city hotel” category.
The hotel formerly hosted North Korean leader Kim Jong-un who arrived in Hanoi to attend the U.S.-North Korea Summit in early 2019.
Room rates cost from about VND3 million.

Melia Ho Tram Beach Resort in Xuyen Moc District in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau was voted the “Luxury coastal resort in Vietnam.”
Stretching along private beaches in the Ho Tram tourist area, the resort has 152 rooms and 61 villas on an area of 17 hectares.
Guests can visit fishing markets and trek into Phuoc Buu forest, home to rare endangered species.

Sofitel Saigon Plaza on Le Duan Boulevard in HCMC’s District 1 was named winner of the “Luxury business hotel in Vietnam” category.
Featuring French colonial design, the hotel has 286 rooms and mainly serves businesspeople.
Room rates cost from VND3.5 million.

Sunrise Nha Trang Beach Hotel & Spa on Tran Phu Street in downtown Nha Trang is designed as a magnificent castle, with luxurious classical architecture.
It has 125 rooms with rates starting from VND1.5 million.

Swandor Cam Ranh Hotels & Resorts along Long Beach on Cam Ranh Peninsula near Nha Trang Town won the “Luxury family resort in Vietnam” title.
It has a 900-square-meter children’s playground complex that is open every day. Room rates cost from VND3.9 million.
The World Luxury Hotel Awards was first launched in 2006 to acknowledge excellence in the luxury hotel industry as voted by guests, travelers and industry players. Over 300,000 international travelers vote each year, during a four-week period to select the winners.
